Exceptions / non-returnable items

Original Artwork (Including ‘Canvas’, ‘Sketches’ ‘Art Paper’ & ‘Hand Embellished Prints’)

Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds on original artwork unless the item is defected or damaged. In this case please email: art@gionitastudio.com within 14 days from the delivery date.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Limited Edition Prints

Refunds
To start a return, you can contact us at art@gionitastudio.com. You’ll also need the proof of purchase or order number.

If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return via email will not be accepted. 


Please send back artwork with all its original packaging and certificate of authentication.

 

Once your return is received, it will then be processed and inspected by our team. We reserve the right to cancel the refund and return your item back to you if it does not adhere to the above.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know via email if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

All returns must be sent on tracked delivery only as we do not take responsibility for lost returns. We do not cover the cost of returns postage.

Damages and Defects
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Issues raised after 14 days from the date of delivery will not be considered.

Exchanges
There is no direct exchange available. Please read your order summary carefully before placing your order.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, no creases or damage and in immaculate condition in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. All returns must be sent on tracked delivery only as we do not take responsibility for lost returns. We do not cover the cost of returns postage.

 

Customs Import Duty & Taxes

For all international orders please be aware that we are not liable for customs clearance fees in your country, nor are we responsible for holding times of packages by customs.

 

Our prices on our online store, do not include relevant overseas duties & other custom charges you may incur when purchasing and importing to your country. We will do our best to ensure that custom charges are either paid beforehand for any original artwork purchased but this cannot be guaranteed as it is dependant upon location of delivery.

These costs are determined by your local customs office and are outside of our control. Please familiarise yourself with your country’s custom charges prior to placing the order.

Gionita Studio is not responsible if customers are not notified by their country’s postal authority that items are awaiting payment of customs duties & tax. Please keep an eye out for your shipment when tracking number is provided to avoid delays.

If you choose to reject/refuse delivery due to customs fees there will be a £30 return fee deducted from your refund to cover return shipping due to your refusal. You will be then be refunded the price you have paid for the product minus £30. If the product is priced under £30 at the time of purchase no refund will be provided. This is non-negotiable.
