Aligning with the brand mission of inspiration, connection, authenticity and dreaming big– we want to make this art page a unique platform within the big wide world of the ‘internet’.
Along with creating an art space and growing as an artist, I want to use art and creativity as a tool and a method of slowly and gently building an inclusive and welcoming community; sharing life experiences and exploring different themes of real life and all its various niches whatever chapter each person is living through or has experienced or is looking forward to conquering!
The main aim of this is to form genuine connections and inspire others (and myself) to be empowered in whatever dream they have because when we are truly ourselves and pursue our inner desires without judgement, our outer self becomes complete.
And one way to achieve this is by sharing stories. About our lives.
So, hear me out. I wouldn’t be here starting this crazy venture without listening to many podcasts of how other people did it, without reading about other people doing working hard on their ideas, without watching role models and engaging with people online and without having supportive people in my life inspiring me in various ways. Basically, I wouldn’t be here without other people!
I have many ideas of how I want to achieve this brand mission and expand on this, but initially I want to simply begin with having real conversations with you.
If you have made it this far down this blog post, firstly I appreciate you, and I can assume you are interested, understands my goals, and truly believes in this brand mission of inspiring others to do what inspires them by sharing stories through art!
I need help and I’m looking for female muses for various aspects of this project and here’s where you come in (yes YOU!)
- You can submit a written story you want around your personal circumstance
- You can request for a theme or questions to reflect upon and submit a story around that topic (or see below for my upcoming collection themes for ideas)
- You can request for a video conversation where we can have a chat over a cup of tea and I can write some notes down around something you want to talk about or I can drive the conversation.
- You can volunteer to be a muse and simply submit a picture which will be used as inspiration for upcoming art collections.

DETAILS
Written story submission
If providing a written submission, please kindly keep it to 2 A4 pages max. Although, don’t feel pressured to use that many words, we are happy with one liners and a couple of sentences if that’s your style.
Photograph submission
If you are looking to be a muse for my future collections and are submitting a photograph, please ensure your hair is tied back and clear of face, the shot must include your head and shoulders (and can be up to your chest), minimum/no clothing is preferred but you can also wear plain simple black or white clothing with no patterns. Any poses welcome, so feel free to get creative, use your arms, hands, wild angles etc. And remember to have FUN!
Your original photograph that you submit will NOT be shared anywhere (unless written permission is provided by yourself via email). However, we reserve the right to share images of and distribute any artwork your photograph has been used as an inspiration for.
Video Conversation
If you would prefer a face-to-face online chat instead, you can request for a video conversation where we can have a chat over a cup of tea and I can write some notes down around something you want to talk about or I can drive the conversation.
Please email art@giontastudio.com with a little information about yourself, whether you have a story to share, or you want questions to be able to prompt you, and your availabilities within the month (Date & Time). Video conversations can be held over Zoom, Teams, or WhatsApp Video Call Function.
Things to note:
- All submissions are 100% FREE and can be anonymous if you so wish.
- This is not a commission.
- There is no guarantee that your submission will be shared or your photograph used although we will try our absolute best to ensure everyone’s submission is utilised effectively and in the appropriate manner.
- By submitting a story, or engaging in a one-to-one conversation you are giving permission to Gionita Studio that the submission can be used anywhere the artist deems fit including but not limited to website and social media pages.
- If submitting a photograph, the original copy will NOT be shared or utilised anywhere (unless written permission is provided by yourself via email). However, we reserve the right to share images of and distribute any artwork your photograph has been used as inspiration for.
